Welcome under the flamboyán
July 1, 2026
In communities across the Caribbean, in Madagascar and many other places around the world, the flamboyán tree is where people gather. Under its red canopy you talk, you check in, you plan what comes next. It is a place of calm and joy. Nobody needs an invitation. The shade belongs to everyone.
This space works the same way.
Once a month I’ll share a short note here, one story, one idea worth sitting with, and what’s coming next. Sometimes it will be a specific topic about a policy or leadership issue, and the work of finding your own voice inside of it. Sometimes it will be a question or wondering that has taken hold of my attention. Other times, it will be an invitation to join a convening or engagement opportunity, which will keep our network connected.
Pull up a chair or unfold a blanket. I’m glad you’re here!
