Since 1971, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) National Conference on Student Assessment (NCSA) has been the trusted forum for assessment practitioners to learn and reflect upon current and emerging trends in education and educational assessments.

Each year, this highly anticipated conference gathers the most dynamic and creative education professionals, including individuals and leaders from federal, state, and district agencies, as well as test publishers and administrators, educational consultants, university faculty and other experts who support technology, education, and business assessments, from around the country for an intensive, highly collaborative exploration of new technologies, best practices, and pressing issues.

At this year’s NCSA the theme will be Fueling Acceleration: How meaningful assessment systems can drive student learning. During the 2022 conference, participants will have an opportunity to discuss what we learned from assessment results over the past several years, how those results and other indicators have been used to support learning and the implications for the future of assessment and accountability.
