Company Description
Voice4Equity is a Hawaii-based startup company with a national mission and presence. We are a women-owned, women serving company. Our mission is to increase the number of women, particularly women of color, at the policy table. Our work is focused on disrupting years of systemic bias and inequities by working with women, school districts and companies to expand the diversity of voice through strategic leadership, equity policies and community engagement. Voice4Equity runs a national Women’s Policy Network and a High School Girls Policy Network.
Length: By Semester; can be extended semester to semester
Pay: $20-25/hr
Min Hours: 6 – 10 hrs/week

I. BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER (001) Open until filled
Responsibilities:
We are seeking general support in communications, technology and marketing, including: managing social media, redesigning a monthly newsletter online, maintaining and updating the company website, providing general IT support for Zoom-based meetings and training, sending out meeting reminders, managing and contributing to our closed e-network of women leaders, conducting general research. Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
Systems you need to know:
Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive, etc.)
Online presentation tools, i.e. Zoom
Basic web design and updates using a content management platform, preferably Squarespace
Preferred Skills
Mighty Networks (or similar online community management platform)
Email Marketing Tools such at Active Campaign or Mail Chimp
Great verbal and writing skills
II. NEWS & POLICY INTERN (002) Open until filled
Responsibilities:
We are seeking general support in communications, technology and marketing, including: managing social media, redesigning a monthly newsletter online, maintaining and updating the company website, providing general IT support for Zoom-based meetings
Systems you need to know:
Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
Online presentation tools, i.e. Zoom
Preferred Skills:
Great verbal and writing skills; communication skills
Excellent transcription accuracy and basic research skills
