The Equity Data Partner program is a revolutionary service to empower mission-driven teams to more effectively utilize data to democratically drive transformative change in education.

Equity Data Partner Program

Tech4Equity.org also hosts the Equity Data Partner Program that enables mission-driven organizations to contribute data to our data sharing platform, where it can be made available selectively to other program participants.

Description:

The mission of the Equity Data Partners (EDP) Program is to democratize access to data from a wide range of equity-forward organizations, in order to add value to existing data collections and create new ways of accessing data by practitioners and the public.

How it Works:

The EDP team utilizes a secure, high performance data cloud as common infrastructure for a shared platform called the Policy Leadership Platform (PLP). Program partners, such as non-profits, governmental and non-governmental organizations, work with the EDP team to identify data and information that will add value to the PLP and provide a data transformation opportunity to the partner. The EDP team is responsible for configuring the loading and transformation process for the data, which prepares the data for traditional data analytics as well as natural language processing through a variety of automated and chat-based user interfaces. This configuration allows for customizable use cases, which the EDP team configures based on the specific goals of the partner and the EAP.

Capabilities:

  • Unlimited* high-availability secure US-based cloud data storage for:
    • Databases and data files
    • Data warehouses
    • Research documents and papers
  • AI-enabled data extraction and meta-tagging on all unstructured documents and files
  • “Upscaling” of data using AI-powered extraction and augmentation
  • Pre-built templates and security profiles for document and data analysis and access management
  • Location on CDN for serving documents and data to webpages
  • Pre-built templates in Python, R, and Streamlit for querying, quantitative analysis, and visualizations
  • Natural language processing capabilities for end-user access (internal and external)
  • A rapid implementation team to manage the transition project and provide weekly status
